BallStreet will create free-to-play real-time prediction markets for fans to compete and trade against each other live during the Super Bowl.

NEW YORK, January 4, 2022 — BallStreet Trading, Inc, the free peer-to-peer sports and entertainment prediction platform, announced a partnership with creating a first-of-its-kind competitive second screen experience for Benzinga’s readership.

The BallStreet platform will host free-to-play contests during the 2022 Super Bowl, dubbed as “The Market” and serve as a competitive layer to the fan-viewing experience. The partnership will offer the opportunity for fans to buy and sell shares of teams playing in the Super Bowl in real-time as they are watching live. BallStreet, Benzinga, and third-party brands will collaborate to create rewards and prizes for viewers who tune into the game.

Scott San Emeterio, BallStreet CEO, said: “We are excited for the opportunity to work with Benzinga and offer real-time Super Bowl markets to their visitors. Our focus will be on creating a competitive fan viewing experience and engaging users where they can connect, compete, and win great prizes while watching the Super Bowl.”

“We are excited to embark on this first-of-its-kind partnership with BallStreet Trading”, said Michael Murray, Benzinga’s Director of Marketing. “Through a free-to-trade platform, the value that BallStreet creates is evident and we know that our audience will enjoy competing against each other during the Super Bowl as they are watching from home.”

BallStreet views “The Market” as an opportunity to enhance the fan viewing experience and offer something new for both fans and brand partners. San Emeterio added, “we see an opportunity for our product to bridge the gap between sports fans, traders, and brand sponsors. We are very excited for this opportunity to showcase our product at scale as we look forward to creating a new digital marketing channel in 2022 for brands looking to approach a financially savvy user base.”
